Dr. Kim's first groundbreaking book is the first written in English regarding acupuncture in the United States. 

Dr. Kim is a 37th generation acupuncturist. He is nationally certified licensed, as well as a Qi Gong and Tae Kwon Do Master with over 60 years of experience. He is the first acupuncturist to arrive in the United States (1970) and performed acupuncture anesthesia for the first time in U.S. history (1973) at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (Virginia). He discovered the main causative factor of cancer by applying his Martial Art and Acupuncture Channel Theory, developed through his constant clinical research of acupuncture and herbal medicine. Prior to opening the Oklahoma City clinic in 2011, Dr. Kim operated his clinic in Massachusetts for twenty years.

Dr. Kim is a graduate of Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine and Samra University of Oriental Medicine. He is also an accomplished martial artist, and participated in the Vietnam War as a Korean Tiger Troop Tae Kwon Do and close combat instructor.
